Nurse Practitioner

The emphasis is diagnosing and treating patients’ conditions for the purpose of achieving long term results, as opposed to simply medicating their symptoms. The clinic’s goal is to offer patients quality healthcare in a professional manner through the use of a multi-disciplinary approach.

We seek an individual that is capable of using their medical training and clinical judgment to provide professional, responsive care to our patients in a manner that is in line with the clinic’s values and standards. We expect this individual to be properly educated, highly motivated, responsible, and well-mannered.

Qualifications Required

Education

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) program

License, Certification, Registration

  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current California Nurse Practitioner (NP) Certificate
  • Current certification from either the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Current furnishing number from the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Current DEA registration number (may be obtained within 2-3 months of hire, if applicant does not have one)
  • Current CPR card (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)

Physician Assistant

Education

  • Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program

License, Certification, Registration

  • Current California Physician Assistant license
  • Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current DEA registration number (may be obtained within 2-3 months of hire should applicant not have one)
  • Current CPR card (may be obtained within 6 months of hire should applicant not have one)

Experience

  • Previous experience in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Pain Management and/or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred, but not required.
  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Other

  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Computer literate and good typing skills
  • EMR experience a plus
  • Spanish is a plus

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

No evenings

No weekends

No travel
